We are completing the release of Native FIX for orders and Native FIX for publication of trades. On 3 February, NASDAQ OMX announced that there are changes to the GCF protocol in connection with implementation of competitive CCP. We will therefore be implementing these protocol changes in the Native FIX release. The protocol upgrade is comprised by your maintenance fees and will therefore not entail further payment. As GCF 2.4.2 is mandatory, it also means that the release must be in production no later than 23 April 2012.
Many of you feel that the IDEAS client has a structure that is too technical rather than business oriented and is therefore complicated to use, especially when you need to make changes to the profile. We have therefore, in the IDEAS road map, planned a redesign of the IDEAS client so that the user-friendliness increases.
How do we ensure that the future versions of the IDEAS client are more user-friendly than the previous ones? We have decided to create a task group consisting of IDEAS users and developers that will participate in the re-design of the client.
We need your business knowledge and ideas on how a user-friendly IDEAS should look. We will be sending invitations to selected users in April. Please contact me to participate in this task group.
IDEAS will be ready for your test in May, and this version contains:
Our original road map for the fall version, IDEAS 7.23 contained subjects such as OMS, Broker network. The spring version, IDEAS 7.24 was to contain access to Oslo Stock Exchange, but Oslo Stock Exchange has announced that the change to the platform of the London Stock Exchange, Millennium is going to take place already as of November.
We are in the process of identifying sales potential and business case for IDEAS in Norway. If this turns out to be positive, our road map will be changed accordingly. Taking IDEAS to Norway is naturally in ALOC's own interest, but it will also be beneficial to you as IDEAS will have a larger client base.
This will mean more 'shoulders' to carry costs, as well as new business facilities in the system. Once our analysis is complete, we will let you know what our road map looks like for fall 2012.
We plan to be hosting another IDEAS workshop in the fall. The workshop will comprise factual subjects on what you can expect from IDEAS - both in the short and in the long run. We will be sending out invitations and agenda in the fall.
We continue to develop the module, Limit Monitor in 2012 to incorporate more types of control limits. Already now you can check if the number/share of bonds and shares is complied with.
A quick sneak peak:

COCKPIT, our web solution, gives your clients and colleagues access to see, for example, Holding and Profit/loss accounts via an internet browser. We can tailor COCKPIT to show exactly the types of reports and data you want.
It gives your business the advantage that you can give your subsidiaries access to the data within SUPERPORT, such as Open forward exchange contracts, Balances/entries of inter-company accounts etc. via COCKPIT's user-friendly user interface.

We are, in the road map for 2012, working on offering hosting of SUPERPORT.
Let ALOC run your SUPERPORT installation reliably and professionally and stay focussed on your own business. Hosting relieves your organisation of a number of operational tasks and frees up resources for the operation of your own business and developmental tasks. This adds significant value to your business.
We are working on creating more and better integration options for SUPERPORT with both internal and external systems.
Already now, SUPERPORT lets you import balances and transactions from several banks, and in 2012 we will be working on expanding this number and the general integration functionalities.
We are also working on a general model for import of all basic data to SUPERPORT, making it easier for you to integrate to your internal systems, for example import of client basic data from your CRM system.
ALOC’s systems comprise several solutions for different segments of the financial industry.
